LEV Enginnering installed an 8 arm welding fume extraction system for a fabrication company in Hereford. The articulated arms and centrifugal fan were installed over a weekend to suit the clients requirements. The extract arms are designed to capture the fume at source and remove the fume from the welders breathing zone. The capture hoods are placed within 250mm of the workpoint. The system has been fully commissioned in line with HSG 258 to the latest BOHS P601 industry standard.
